This is what happens when I watch a Miami/LA ink marathon on TLC
 I always wondered why the hell Iba has a giant tattoo on his back of a flaming kitten, and I figured the obvious answer is that he and the guys got smashed and got tattoos. Iba would ask for "Something badass!" and Shuuhei has a rather evil sense of humor  Since I know I will get comments about Renji and Ikkaku's state of undress, I wanted to draw Renji's tattoos, and figured they would be the type to disrobe the drunker they got. So it is not meant to be yaoi, but take it that way if it floats your boat, I care not *shrug* P.S. The blushing is from the alcohol btw  This is officially for peroxide pest on lj, because I have owed her a picture of the "thugs" FOREVER!!!! I am so so SOOOO sorry this is so late! I fail! Anyway, she wrote me an awesome one shot fanfic for this fic/art trade [link] and I have finally done my half. *weight lifts off shoulders* Drew Shuuhei and Iba in PS w/ tablet, Renji and Ikkaku w/ pencil Colored in Adobe PS 7. Some pictures and manga used as references. P.S. PURPLE LATEX GLOVES FOR TEH WIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!  |

Anyway, hilarious! Good job with the tats man. It's a great way to show your art you know? I love that this is how he got his tat because it reminds me of how many people show up to LA/Miami Ink and say things like, "yeah, so I love your work so...just do something cool on my back okay?" He totally has it comming!!!
