Bleach 10 - Years

Prompt #10 - Years. A bunch of people over at kurosaki_clinic expressed the desire for Hitsugaya to have a growth spurt. It was my plan all along to draw him "aged up" for the years prompt. I just don't think I did a very good job. I find it ironic that I made tutorials for this picture and I am on the verge of truly hating it. I can't put my finger on why. It's probably the proportions? I don't know, maybe I'm just feeling negative tonight. Anyway, I do kinda like the shading because I had no reference for it. I didn't have a reference for this pose at all actually. So yay for me? Then again it's not a crazy pose to do. Blah. At least this will inspire me to crank out another picture to get this off the front page. I got lazy and also couldn't stand to look at this picture anymore, so I just gave him a background similar to an older Renji picture of mine. Just think of them as a series... yeah... that's it... *dies*

PS: And don't ask me what the hell it is he's wearing over his pants. I saw an anime or manga (can't remember) picture of Kenpachi wearing something similar, and I thought it looked pretty wacky. I really just wanted an excuse to play with more clothing folds, because I need to get better at them *shrug* ... and I'm on crack. That always explains everything.
